It's been two weeks that I have my little girl and she's doing really, really fine. Her name is Tya. She is eating well and she's very active, even if I don't pick her up just yet. I still have the paper around her cage with one small slice off so she can get used to her environment. She's really, really pretty and I'm really happy to have her. I think the 6 hour trip from Montréal to Peterborough was well worth it and we thank you for letting us visit your facilities. We were very impressed by the way it was organized and well cared for. It was so exceptional of George to drive all that way on such a short notice to meet me when I just happened to be in Toronto. It was an unexpected trip for me and George really went out of his way to assist me. By meeting George in person I could easily see the passion that he has for bearded dragons.
I really love the vibrant colors of this guy. He's beautiful and healthy. Those that I have shown him to are very impressed with him. A few just by seeing him have become interested in acquiring a bearded dragon themselves. If you are looking for a good quality bearded dragon from someone knowledgeable with excellent service then call Capital Dragons. I highly recommend them! Hey Sheila and George, we just wanted to let you know how our Dragon is that you sent us. He's doing great. After 1 week he's 7 inches already, went through his shed just fine, and is eating his greens and crickets everyday, and he eats like a pig! His colors are amazing as well. He has changed color several times and is currently shedding off a mixture of coral and red colours. He is the most lovable and affectionate pet. I never dreamed a lizard could be so sociable and curious as this guy. He actually looks for us and waits for us to pay attention to him. He has even formed a bond with our dog who insists on winning staring contests. He really is a joy and I thank you so much for providing us with a wonderful lizard. This was the first time that a breeder has sent not only the animals, but also all the information on how to care for them, as well as their records and their lineage. After seeing their method on how they operate, I would have to say that more people should learn this method, and do the same; this amount of professionalism is VERY hard to beat in this industry. Rec'd by Email - from Randi Johnston I have dealt with numerous breeders, both privately and when I worked for a large scale petstore, and I've seen nothing but the best come from you guys. The female that I got is an absolute doll. Bright red and orange (even some pink around her ears and cheeks) and is the most inquisitive beardie I have ever owned. The male is the same. He's always very alert (he's even bearded me a few times when his salad is a little later than normal) and is one of the most solid orange dragons I have ever seen. Both ate a full dish of salad as well as numerous phoenix worms the day they got home, which I've never had happen before. For the rest of my guys, even though it was offered, they didn't really start to chow down until two or so days after they were brought home. Right now the two of them are in their own basic tanks until I can get their custom enclosures built but I will send you pictures of both of the dragons and of their new homes if you would like. Rec'd by Email - from Jackie V. He's here! My brother phoned me at 9:00 in the morning to tell me my beardie had arrived. I picked him up after work, 2:00 pm. When I opened the box he was already on his way out. He is even more beautiful than the picture, I couldn't be happier. I gave him a warm bath (which he pooed in) and then set him in his enclosure. Right now he is warming up under his basking light. The slate is at 104 degrees, and climbing a little, should be stable soon. I need to get some collared greens or something healthier than lettuce tommorow. Right now there is misted lettuce and a few small pieces of carrot in his bowl. (he's not interested, but didn't expect him to be, just licks it.) My friend is bringing crickets in a couple of hours, which will give him some time to warm up and settle down a little. He should eat those. So all in all, I'm so glad that I chose to get a beardie from you, in Canada and not from a petstore or the U.S.A. Thanks so much for everything, he's just too cute! Sheila, Received the baby dragons all O.K. today. I just wanted to let you know that these beardies are some of the best I've seen. When I was the manager at Petland here in Regina, we went through tons, but these girls are awesome. I actually wanted to see if they would go for a couple crickets if I threw them in, and they ended up eating about 20 between the two of them, and I think they ate some salad too. YEEAAHH! That's right you heard me correctly my Zoe and Belle are in pictures. I finally figured it out and now you all can enjoy the girls in livin' colour on the Pagona site. They're the last album, on the last page, under what else Zoe and Belle. I can't tell you the pure joy and pleasure the girls have brought me, it's indescribable. Now with the weather being so beautiful they're outside pretty much everyday, and if I don't, Belle will glass dance till I let her out. Luckily the lawn crew where I live isn't spraying pesticides, so they can run all they want. I just have to mention the incredible experience I've had with my girls has only been hilighted by the fact that I received them from an incredible breeder who not only sent me two amazing babies, but was a great support for me through the whole process of getting accustomed to taking care of them and answering any questions or concerns I had. I've made so many long distance phone calls to her and she was great, even when I nearly had a heart attack because my young little Zoo at the time had a slight calcium deficiency, but when you see her shaking you get scared and Sheila totally helped me out. I feel I've found a good friend and fellow beardie lover in her, her name is Sheila Platt of CAPITAL DRAGONS based in Peterborough, Ontario.
Check out their website, I've just been talking to her and her fiance', and they've told me they've got alot of new babies comin' our way, and I do mean A LOT. They are now starting to ship to the continental U.S also. So if you’re looking for an addition to your beardie family, or are just starting out, give them a try. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the facility and her knowledge in answering my questions both leading up to and at the time of my purchase. I'm extremely pleased with my baby's colouring and temperament. She is an absolute doll. She is now almost 4 months old and eating 60-80 3/4 inch crickets per day. She has also grown from about 6-7" to about 14-15" already!

Hello everyone, It’s me, Tim Daly. For those out there who don’t know me I was the founder of Capital Dragons now operated by Sheila Platt.
I finally have my computer back up and running and I happened to be surfing around and one of the first things I looked up was www.capitaldragons.com I was so happy to see that Shelia has become only the second person in Canada to hatch Hypomelanistic bearded dragons!
Hypomelanistic dragons were something that always fascinated me. They lack the ability to produce dark pigment so they can only show color or white pigment. They are truly beautiful dragons, with their clear nails and bright colors they are and have become the next step in dragon color morphs.
