Crickets are commonly used as a
standard feeder for most insectivorous pets. With a wide range of sizes and
cheap production costs, crickets have become a popular staple. Unfortunately,
freshly shipped crickets are usually not nutritionally complete. To improve
this you need to feed the insects high quality foods prior to feeding the
insects to your pet. This process is called gut loading and it should take
place 24 to 48 hours prior to feeding the insects to your pet. Gut loaded
insects should still be dusted with calcium and vitamins before feeding to your
reptile.
We are now able to ship feeders across Canada.
