Butter worms have at least twice as
much calcium as any other feeder insect (measuring calcium as a percentage of
body mass). This is a great asset to your pets, especially to growing young and
pregnant females. Their bright color and fruity smell are an attraction to
reptiles and other animals. This makes butter worms great for stubborn or picky
eaters. These worms can survive for 1-4
months if cared for properly. Store the butter worms in a refrigerator at 5-10 C
approximately, and keep them dry. If their substrate becomes damp change it immediately
to prevent problems in otherwise healthy animals.

in warm weather while feeders such as Butter Worms and Wax Worms
do better when it is a little cooler.
Be Advised - Extreme weather may limit the distance we ship feeders !
Shipping may also be a bit more during weather requiring heat packs etc.
but will adjust lesser when weather does not require extra materials.

we encourage you to get in touch in better weather.

on Saturdays for shipping the following Monday.
